British writer & editor, Julie Eagleton, has covered arts & culture, fashion, food, health & beauty and travel for as long as she can remember. Her writing has taken her from the film festivals of Cannes to Sundance, enabled her to travel the globe from Brighton to Belize and review theatre from Chekhov to Kabuki. A graduate of Liverpool University, she began a career in journalism and then spent time in the media & PR industries – most recently working as a PR Manager for Coutts Bank – before returning to a full-time freelance writing career.

For six years she had her own column, Eagleton’s Angle, in renowned theatre magazine Plays & Players, where she interviewed leading performers from the stage and screen.

She has written for publications including Elle, Harpers Bazaar, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Times and Vogue. Her work has also appeared in Coutts Woman, Departures, Food and Travel, High Life, Nuvo, People and Ski and Board magazine.

Her interests revolve around long country walks with her yellow labrador, theatre, vintage clothes, film, good literature, all things Chanel, Ferragamo shoes, travel, meditation, skiing, swimming, chocolate, champagne and pink tea roses.

Julie is based in London, but has also lived and worked in Los Angeles, California, where she reported on the film industry.
